Hazel May Saunders Goss, 90, passed away peacefully at her Salt Lake home Tues, June 6, 2000.
Born in Salt Lake City July 12, 1909 to David Henry and Daisy Westwood Saunders. She was the fifth of ten children. Married Henry LeRoy Goss May 5, 1944. She was the co-owner of the Roto-Chef Cafe, 223 East 400 South, Salt Lake City, with her brother, Ray Saund-ers. Later she worked at the ZCMI in Cottonwood Mall un-til her retirement in 1974.Preceded in death by six sisters; one brother; and a son. Survived by her husband, Henry LeRoy Goss; daughter and son-in-law, Mike and Renee' Goss Johnson; two brothers, Ray and Paul Saunders; two sisters-in-law, Faye and Edna Saunders; three grandsons, Blake and Teri Johnson, Chad and Alisa Johnson, and Garrett Johnson; and five great-grandchildren, Luke, Keara, Jessica, Mckenna, and Megan Johnson.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 9, 2000, 11 a.m., at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 So. 1700 E., where friends may call one hour prior to services.
