Together Again

HELPER-- Our mom, grandmother, great-grandma, sister, aunt and dear friend, Flometta Bowles Christensen, age 86, passed away July 6, 2000 at her home.

She was born February 2, 1914 in Nephi, Utah to LaVern and Lettie Garrett Bowles. Married John Edwin Christensen March 23, 1939 in Nephi, Utah and their marriage was later sealed in the Manti Temple. John died April 30, 1976. "Flo" worked countless hours as a volunteer for the old College of Eastern Utah Museum, the Helper Railroad and Mining Museum and at Little Learner's Pre-School in Helper. She will be dearly missed by her family and a community of friends.

Survived by two daughters and their spouses: Carolyn (Timothy) Birch and Sharon (Robert) Limone, both of Helper; four grandchildren: Scott (Rebecca) Birch of Sandy, Kirk Birch, Carl (Barbara) Limone and Sueann (Denny) Erickson, all of Helper; six loving great-grandchildren; sister, Onita Christensen, Fairview; brother, LaMar Bowles, Nephi; sister-in-law, Ellen "Mike" Nielson, Nephi. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Elden; and grandson, Michael.

Funeral service Tuesday, July 11, 2000, 1 p.m. at the Helper LDS Stake Center, located at 150 Ridgeway. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price Monday from 7-9 p.m. and at the church Tuesday one hour prior to services. Friends are welcome at Mitchell's daily from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Interment, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper, UT.
