Beloved husband, father, and grandpa, Cecil Alan Camp, 60, returned to his heavenly home July 7, 2000.
Born Aug. 23, 1939, to Gretta Woolf and Cecil Mayo Camp. Married his sweet-heart, JoAnn H. Schwarz, April 21, 1960. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Al was a tender and loving husband whose passion for travel was supported by 28 years as a customer service representative for Western and Delta Airlines. He loved jazz, softball, bowling, laughter and teasing his grandkids.
Survived by his wife; children, Craig (Heidi) Camp, Bryan (Susanne) Camp, Christine (Jeff) Slack, JoLyn (Craig) Calvert, Chad (Sheridyn) Camp; eight grandchildren; bother, LaMont (Cheryl) Camp; and sisters, Kathleen (Tom) Cole, Pam (Patrick) Handrahan. Preceded in death by his parents.
Service will be 12 noon Wed. July 12, at the Jordan North LDS 6th Ward, 3836 W. 4100 S. Friends and family may call 6-8 p.m. Tues. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, and one hour prior to the service. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
