Alice B. Bruno, our sweet devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 96 at her home in Salt Lake City on July 8, 2000 of natural causes.

She was born on April 28, 1904 in Butte, Montana to Carl W. and E. Alice Brunner. She lived for many years in Provo, Utah, where she graduated from high school and Brigham Young University. She married Frank Bruno on May 26, 1930 in Bountiful, Utah and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on November 17, 1954. He preceded her in death on September 16, 1984. Alice taught business and type in California, Beaver, Utah and Moroni, Utah. She loved reading, music, playing bridge, bowling and was an active bowler in her 90's. Alice especially loved spending time with her family. She was an active member of the LDS Church and lived in the Le Grand Ward for over 50 years and served in many church positions. She was also a member of the D.U.P.

She is survived by her children, Shirley Butler, St. George, Utah; Sheila Harward, Salt Lake City; and Richard (Christie) Bruno, Orem, Utah. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; one granddaughter, Sharon Butler, preceded her in death; 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 13, 2000 at 12 noon at the Le Grand Ward Chapel, 1078 South McClelland. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, and at the ward one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 So. 1700 E., Sandy.
