Our loving son, brother, uncle and friend, Daniel Maclin Posegate, age 29, passed away July 2, 2000 in Georgetown, South Carolina.
Born to Donald Maclin and Shirley May Tack Posegate on September 21, 1970 in Bisbee, Arizona. Daniel was an active member of the LDS Church, having held many positions. He served an LDS mission to Micronesia from 1989 to 1991. Graduated from Grants High School as Salutatorian, and graduated from University of Delaware in Biochemistry. He was loved by many, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survived by mother, Shirley, from Salt Lake City; grandfather, Nile A. Tack, of Iowa; brothers and sisters, Sharon Hunt, Salt Lake City; Tambri Elkins, Houston, Texas; Jennifer Hall, Salt Lake City; Jeffrey Elkins, Arizona; Stephen Elkins, Provo; Shirley Eggleston, Salt Lake City; 23 nieces and nephews; one great-nephew, one great-niece; aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by father, and sister, Deborah Kay.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 13, 2000 at 4:30 p.m. at the Kearns 4th Ward, 4660 West 5015 South. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
