Irvin Dale Hirsch, age 90, passed away in Sandy, Utah on July 11, 2000.
He was born on February 24, 1910 in Bellvue, Kansas to Lee Irvin and Verne Ethel Townsend Hirsch. He married Inez Dallinga on June 25, 1938 in Manhat-tan, Kansas. They moved to Utah in 1940.
He was a member of Carpenter Union #184 since 1939, the FOE of Murray and the Cottonwood Pres-byterian Church. He loved to hunt, fish, camp and spend winters in Arizona and California.
He is survived by his wife, Inez, of West Jordan; daughter, Pat (Sherm) Miller, of West Jordan; son, Frank, of Kearns; six grandchildren, Susan Miller, Brenda (Todd) Matthews, Mindee Hirsch, Tom (Andrea) Miller, Jamie (Jay) Withers, Cody Hirsch; six great-grandchildren, Ashley, Casey, Tanner, Keith, Chandler and Kaitlynn; sister, Mildred O'Neill; brothers, Earl and Lester Hirsch. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, George and Otis Hirsch; and sister, Marjorie Cour.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 15, 2000, at 2 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, where friends may call from 12 to 1:45 prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
