BOSTON (AP) — The son of a housing leader at the nation's first tenant-run public housing development has been arrested on charges of selling crack cocaine at the complex.
Raleigh Hailey 42, was arrested in his mother's apartment early Wednesday during a raid at the Bromley-Heath housing complex.
A federal indictment alleges that he sold at least five grams of crack in March. Another man was charged with conspiring to sell drugs with Hailey.
The arrests come seven months after Mildred Hailey, Hailey's mother, regained her position as tenant leader, despite allegations she had ignored drug activity during her tenure.
