SOUTH SALT LAKE — A man was stabbed in his home early Thursday morning, police say.

Police received a call at 2:36 a.m. that a man had been stabbed in the chest in his home, 558 W. 3560 South, which is also a business. Apparently the man had discovered that the front glass door had been broken into before he was stabbed, according to South Salt Lake police.

The man was taken to LDS Hospital where he was in fair condition Thursday morning.

Police are still investigating the incident and have a lot of unanswered questions at this time, a spokesman said.
