WASHINGTON — The Washington Post has introduced an early Sunday edition that will be sold at retail stores on Saturday. It is intended for readers who want their Sunday paper early or who have difficulty finding a copy of the newspaper on Sundays.
The new edition, which debuted Saturday, contains all of the Sunday Washington Post feature sections, including TV Week, The Washington Post Magazine, and Book World, as well as advertising and coupon packages.
The edition contains much of the newspaper's Sunday national, foreign and metropolitan news, as well as some features exclusive to the new edition, including a weekly review of important national and international stories and team-by-team professional sports statistics.
Later news will be found in the regular Sunday edition.
