Miracle 88, Shock 78
ORLANDO, Fla. — Nykesha Sales had 20 points and seven assists to lead all the Orlando starters in double figures as the Miracle tied a season-high scoring output in an 88-78 victory over Detroit on Wednesday night.
Taj McWilliams had 19 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots for Orlando, which shot 56.9 percent from the field (37-for-65), while Cintia Dos Santos had a career-high 17 points and five blocks. Shannon Johnson contributed 15 points and Adrienne Johnson had 12 for the Miracle (14-8).
Claudia Maria das Neves had 19 points for the Shock (10-11).
SOL 69, FIRE 62: At Miami, Katrina Colleton tied a career high with 19 points and Kristen Rasmussen set one with 17 as Miami beat Portland in the first meeting of the WNBA expansion franchises.
