Jesse Grant Hall, 78, of Mapleton, passed away July 19, 2000.
He was born May 9, 1922 in Mapleton, Utah to Otto Armond and Rebecca Larsen Hall. He married Jean Jackson on August 3, 1943.
Grant was an accomplished crafts-man and could build and repair anything. He was a perfec-tionist and took great pride in his yard and garden. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved the mountains and outdoors. Grant had many hidden talents including piano, poetry and singing. Most of all, Grant loved his family. He spent countless hours enjoying activities with his family. He was always there for everyone and shared willingly.
Grant is survived by his wife, Jean Jackson Hall; one son and three daughters: Patricia (Keith) Ivory, Susan (Michael) Olsen, Stephen Hall, Cindy (Tim) Duke; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and his black Labrador "Sophia". He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2000 at the Mapleton White Church, 31 West Maple, Mapleton. Friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville or at the church one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
