Warren Fry, 75 years of age, died Monday evening July 17, 2000 at St. Mark's Hospital.

Pop Fry was born July 31, 1924 near Iantha, MO in the family home to Paul Albert and Gladys Mae (Moseley) Fry. He graduated from Lamar (MO) High School in 1943. He served as a radio operator on the sub-marine USS Bumper out of Subic Bay in the Philippines during World War II. Warren married Marjorie Marie Holt in Benton-ville, ARK on May 26, 1948. He worked for the Post Office as a rural mail carrier in Indio, CA from 1966 until he retired in 1984. Pop loved his time in Salt Lake and deeply treasured his ties to Southeast Baptist Church.

Warren is survived by his bride of 52 years, Marjorie; sons, Michael and David and their wives Carol and Dru;

grandchildren, Timothy, Justin, Desire and Rhiannon; sister, Marjorie Thompson of Iantha, MO; and by his many nieces and

nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Southeast Baptist Church, 1700 E. 7000 So., on Friday, July 21st at 3 p.m. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the services. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Library Fund at Southeast Baptist Church.
