The Utah Highway Patrol released the name of the teen killed in a three-car pileup that sent 10 people to the hospital Wednesday night.

Killed was:

Paul Green, 17, Tooele.

Green was the driver of a car that collided head-on with an out-of-control car driven by 18-year-old Amanda Skeem, Grantsville, who was airlifted from the scene and was listed in critical condition in LDS Hospital Friday morning.

Cathy Wallace, 15, Tooele and Ryan Lopez, 19, were passengers in Green's car. They were taken to LDS Hospital and were listed in critical condition Friday morning, said Jess Gomez, a spokesman for LDS Hospital.

Utah Highway Patrol Spokesman Chris Kramer said Skeem's car crossed the center lane of U-201 near 11700 West and clipped a passing Jeep before colliding with Green's vehicle. Besides Green and Skeem, five people in the Jeep and four in the other vehicle were involved in the wreck.

The remaining were taken to area hospitals. The information regarding their conditions was not available Friday morning.

Kramer said Skeem was alone in her car and the accident remains under investigation but "speed may have been a factor."
