SHARE The Souper Bowl raises supermoney for the needy

The Souper Bowl, a charity held each year during the NFL Super Bowl, reports having raised a record $3.1 million for soup kitchens and food banks across the country during last winter's game.

The total was $600,000 more than the previous year. In Utah, the Souper Bowl raised $6,325, or about $500 more than in 1999.

The next Souper Bowl of Caring is planned for Jan. 28, 2001.
