Utah County insurance broker Marilyn Devey has been named to the volunteer regional governing board for Intermountain Health Care's Utah County hospitals and clinics. Devey, who is a principal in Timp Benefits and Insurance, has 17 years of experience in the insurance industry and is a licensed agent who specializes in health insurance.

Dr. Blake Zobell, who serves as chief of staff at the Sevier Valley Hospital, has been elected president of the Utah Podiatric Medical Association. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah and received his doctorate of medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco.

Coldwell Banker Premier Realty has appointed Dick Payne as managing broker of its North Davis office in Layton, now at 872 W. Heritage Park Blvd. He will assist Coldwell Banker in relocating the office in September to 941 N. 400 West in Layton.

There have been some personnel changes at FJCandN, a Salt Lake branding firm. The company has hired Tiia Sumera as public relations account manager. She will assist clients in the travel, tourism and retail industries. Also hired is Michael Dunford, a graphic designer, who will help clients in the banking, travel, tourism and insurance industries.

Bryan Rohbock, who has been a general contractor since 1976, has joined Thomas Petersen Hamond Architects. He recently passed his architectural licensing test for Utah and brings 30 years of experience to his new position as an architect at the firm.

The lobbying and government affairs team of Douglas Foxley and Frank Pignanelli has joined the law firm of Jones, Waldo, Holbrook & McDonough. The firm also has created a government and public affairs department, which Foxley will head.

There have been some changes at Big-D Construction. Blaine Nimer has been promoted to chief estimator. He has 20 years of experience in the industry. Jim Allison also has been promoted to vice president. He has been with the firm for 19 years and has been in the construction business for 23 years.

Marci Milligan has been appointed senior deputy director for the Utah Partnership office of Fannie Mae, the nation's largest source for home mortgages. She will help manage Fannie Mae's five-year, $7 billion "House Utah" investment plan to finance affordable housing for more than 66,000 low- and moderate-income families. She has extensive experience dealing with housing and community development issues.

Camco Construction has hired Ronald Montgomery as a construction superintendent. An industry veteran with 27 years of experience, he will oversee the construction of a variety of projects including office buildings, shopping centers, warehouses and parking structures.

There have been some changes at Magnesium Corporation of America (Magcorp). Howard Kaplan, the former vice president of sales and marketing has been promoted to senior vice president. He will continue to take part in sales and marketing through customer relations and strategic development, but his new position will allow him a greater role in long term business strategy development. Cameron Tissington, former ingot sales manager, will take on full responsibility for Magcorp sales and marketing throughout the world. Magcorp is the largest merchant magnesium producer in the United States.

Andrea Packer has joined Publicis Dialog as a senior account executive in the public relations division. She has eight years of experience in the communications and media relations industries.

Travis Larsen of Magna, a 10-year veteran of the company, has been named the Agent's Home Office Employee of the Year by Beneficial Life Insurance Co. The award recognizes outstanding service. Beneficial Life is the oldest and largest life insurance firm in the Intermountain West.

Dain Rauscher has hired Craig Martucci as an investment executive in its Fort Union office. Martucci helps individual and corporate clients in choosing appropriate investments, including stocks, taxable and tax-exempt bonds, options and mutual funds. He also assists with retirement planning and money-management programs.

Full Spectrum Lending, a national lender that specializes in home loan products, has appointed Chad Henry to branch manager of the Salt Lake office. He will work with homeowners, homebuyers and real estate professionals to help obtain financing. He is a 10-year veteran of the mortgage banking industry.
