Joseph and Leah Snow Dyches

Married July 29, 1930, in Manti, Utah, and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They are lifetime residents of Moroni, Utah, where he was a barber. He served in the high priests quorum and she served in Relief Society. He enjoys gardening and fishing, and she enjoys making quilts and afghans and being a homemaker. Members of the Moroni 2nd Ward, Moroni Utah Stake. Parents of five children (four living) they have 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Ephriam G. and Ethel Sasser Hawkins

"We never had any money in those times. Money wasn't the thing then — living was. We grew together." — Eph G. Hawkins

Married 70 years ago on July 30, 1930, in the Logan Utah Temple. They raised their family in Malad, Idaho, where he was a barber and farmer. He served as bishop's counselor and Sunday School superintendent. She served as president of the Relief Society, Primary and Young Women. They enjoyed camping and fishing. Members of the Murraydale Ward, Murray Utah Little Cottonwood Stake. Parents of four children, they have 24 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Merna Ellis and Gareld S. Marchant

"We had our fun times and our work times. Whatever took priority, that was where we turned our attention, for his work or mine. He was always a fun person and kept us happy." — Merna Marchant

Married 73 years ago on July 27, 1927, in the Logan Utah Temple. They farmed and raised cattle in Burley, Idaho. He enjoys training horses and taught ice and roller skating. She organized and was the president of the first Pink Ladies volunteers for the Cassia Memorial Hospital. He served as bishop, and she served as ward and stake Relief Society and Primary president. Members of the Springdale 2nd Ward, Declo Idaho Stake. Parents of four children, they have 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
