SANDY, Utah — The Sandy Alta View Utah Stake hosted a camp for 50 special needs young women in their region recently. Approximately 45 youth counselors and 21 adult leaders also participated. Activities included western-style games, clogging, a hoedown, ballads around the campfire, wagon rides, face and nail painting and a testimony meeting.
"I think I can speak for all involved in this camp when I say that it was a privilege to serve those special needs girls," said Michelle Schwendiman, camp director. "We all learned to be less selfish."
