SHARE Obituary: Christopher James Wright

On July 1, 2000, at 12:05 a.m., our beloved Christopher left his mortal family to return to his Heavenly Father. Christopher died at home in his fathers' arms after a two-year fight with cancer. Christopher's faith and spirit won the battle.

He was born August 27, 1986, in Provo, UT.

Christopher is loved by all. He was a peacemaker and never failed to thank anyone or give a kind word. His first concern was for others. Christopher's impish grin was there until the end along with his bright blue eyes. He loved animals, especially his dogs and cats. He had some very special, close friends who never failed him.

He served as a Deacon in the Edgemont 20th Ward, was active in Scouting, loved to camp, fish, and tease his siblings. Christopher won the hearts of all who knew him, and the return of concern and generosity from his friends in church, school, hospitals and special organizations was overwhelming.

As Christopher's family, we wish to extend a special and sincere thank you to his many physicians, especially Dr. Michael Pulsipher, for his loving and personal care.

Survivors include his father, James R. Wright; mother, Lori Huntington Wright; brother, Justin Huntington; sister, Lacie Wright; younger brother, Tayler Wright, all of Provo; wonderful grandparents, Fred and Carol Huntington, Provo, Kenneth and Marilynn Wright, Logan, Paul and Diane Warner, Pleasant Grove; uncle, Craig Huntington, Provo; and many more close aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thurs July 6, at the Edgemont 20th Ward Chapel, 3500 N. 180 E., Provo, UT. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the funeral. Interment, Eastlawn Memorial Hills, 4800 N. 650 E., Provo, UT. Directors, Berg Mortuary, Provo, UT.
