Salt Lake police are looking for a man who raped a woman in her home near 450 E. 100 South late Sunday night.

The woman told police she had just returned home and left her door open because it was hot outside. She changed her clothes and went to close the door when she saw a man approaching her. He forced the door open as she tried to close it, forced the woman into a bedroom and held a knife to her throat while he raped her, according to police.

The man is described as black, in his mid-20s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 145 pounds and with a thin build, shaved head, dark shorts and white T-shirt. He wore a blue bandana over his face.
