Our beloved mother, Neva Ivie Harvey, died in her sleep early July 28 at her home, after enduring many illnesses.

Born June 7, 1920 to Jerome Ivie and Calla Penney Ivie in Kanosh, Milford County, UT. Neva married Hugh Ray Harvey Feb. 28, 1942. She was a wonderful wife and mother, and a friend to many people. Her hus-band, children, and grandchildren were of greatest import-ance in her life.

Hugh Ray preced-ed her in death Jan. 23, 2000. Her sister, Merdith, died at the early age of 13 years. She lost two brothers, Floyd and Vernal, before their time. What most devastated Neva was the loss of her precious grandson, Todd Jerome Harvey, whom she dearly loved and protected until his death.

She leaves behind her children, Norman Bart Harvey, Kathryn Harvey (Richard) Hernandez, Steven Harvey, Helen Harvey (Kenny) Caputo; eight grandchildren, Melissa Garbell, Jon Caputo, Dak Harvey, Jason (Lisa) Garbell, Hollis Harvey, Alex Garbell, Ivy (Marce) Wilson, Joey Caputo. Her loving sister Nola and brother Harold (Vera) Ivie and their children Cynthia, Shauna, Jerald, James, Ryan, and great nieces and nephews, mourn her loss. She also left behind her dear cousin and soul sister, Mryleen Talbot; her dear sisters-in-law, Orpha Mikolash Florence Harvey and Orpha Harvey; and many friends and neighbors.

Her faith in God and her love of Jesus Christ sustained her through many hardships. Her greatest gifts were her ability to forgive and her knack of finding humor in adversity. You are loved and will be missed.
