Elaine Wall Kirk, 88, Goshen,UT, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 29, 2000, in Provo, Utah.

Born Dec. 30, 1911, in Santaquin, UT, to Albert Frederick and Minnie Openshaw Wall. Married Clar-ence "Swede" Kirk Jan. 27, 1929. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. Swede died Sept 30, 1990.

She was an active member of the LDS Church, having held positions as Relief Society teacher, Young Women advisor and Sunday School teacher. Her favorite things in life were being with her family and serving others. She was not only a mother and grandmother, but also a friend to everyone. She loved the Gospel and blessing the lives of others. She will truly be missed.

Survived by her son, Gordon (Ann) Kirk; grandchildren, Allen (Misty) Kirk, Rodney (Carrie) Kirk, Jennifer Kirk; eight great-grandchildren, Spanish Fork, UT; as well as many friends and relatives. Preceded in death by her husband; parents; a brother; and three sisters.

Services will be 2 p.m., Tues., Aug 1, in the Goshen LDS Ward Chapel, 70 So. Center. Friends may call 6:30-8:30 p.m., Mon. at the chapel and 12:45-1:45 p.m. prior to services. Burial, Goshen Cemetery. Directors, Holladay Hills Funeral Home, Santaquin.
