Our beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend, Jaydee Blackburn, age 18, passed away Saturday July 1, 2000 at the University of Utah Medical Center after suffering an injury saddle bronc riding at Evanston, WY.
Jaydee was born August 18, 1981.
Survived by his parents, Gary and Lennie Blackburn; brother, Casey (Codie); sisters, Crystal (Will) Larsen, Amy; grandparents, Gary J. and Ranae Blackburn, Grantsville; grandmother, Glenna Cozzens, Clearfield, grandfather, Ron (Jaime) Cozzens, Winslow, AZ; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jaydee graduated from North Summit High School in 1999. While in high school he participated in football, wrestling, high school rodeo, and served as an officer in the FFA for three years. During his high school years he was employed at Park City Stables, SnoWest Snowmobile, and Bell Oil Co. Since graduating he has worked hanging drywall, and as a self-employed fence contractor.
Jaydee loved the out-of-doors, ranch life, and life in general. He was a friend to everyone. His bright mind, quick wit, and sunny smile will be missed by all.
Services will be 12 noon Thurs. July 6, in the Henefer Ward Chapel. Friends and family may call at the church 7-9 p.m. Wed. and 10:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday. Interment, Henefer Cemetery. Funeral directors, Walker Mortuary, Morgan and Coalville, UT.
