This mortal life of Jean Cherizade Woodward Larsen came to an end August 9, 2000.

Born October 23, 1923 in Ogden, Utah to Herbert and Virginia Rasmussen Woodward.

A graduate of Ogden High School, attended University of Utah, Utah State University and graduated from Brigham Young University.

Taught in Ogden School District and for many years in the Granite School District as a resource teacher at Granite Park Junior High.

Was awarded "Teacher of the Year" for Granite School District and the State of Utah.

Active in the Granite Education Association and a member of Delta Kappa Honorary Teachers Sorority. Also had been an active PTA worker and President.

An active member of the LDS Church, serving on the stake Relief Society board in Grant Stake and had been a teacher and leader in every auxiliary organization in the Grant 12th Ward.

Survived by four sons, and four daughters-in-law. Reed W. (Lynda), Ellensburg, WA., Nick D. (Cari) Sandy, UT., Brent A. (Carla), Las Vegas, NV., and Ronald A. (Sheri) Sandy; Also survived by 21 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a special uncle, Bill Rasmussen, several cousins, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

The family would like to extend thanks to the care givers at Crosslands and Highland Care Centers, also the Hospice nurses and a special thanks to the members of the Willow Canyon 1st Ward.

Funeral services will be held, Sat., August 12, 2000, 2:30 p.m. at the Willow Canyon 1st Ward, 9636 So. 1700 E.

Friends may call at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd., Friday, Aug. 11th, from 6-8 p.m. and the day of the service at the church from 1:15-2:15 p.m. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
