MONROE, UT-- Grant Julander, 83, of Monroe, Utah, passed away August, 9, 2000, in Richfield, Utah.
Grant was born March 17, 1917, in Monroe, Utah to John and Ida Delight Asay Julander. He married Eva Gail Coleman on January 31, 1936 in Junction, Utah. The marriage was solem-nized in the Manti LDS Temple January 31, 1938.
Grant was a horse man, outdoors man, and occupation as a farmer and animal husbandry. He ser-ved for 50 years in the voluntary fire department and was an active member of the LDS Church.
Grant is survived by his children, Lillie and James Jones, Westminster, CA; Dallas and Pauline Julander, Monroe, UT; Jane and Dave Peterson, Sparks, NV; and Rita Webb, Snowflake, AZ; sister, Grace McGraw; 14 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; son-in-law, Steve Webb; brothers and sisters, Zetta, Lexie, Virgil, LaVird, Odell, Letha, Ray, Boyd, Zanetta, and Von.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2000 at 1 p.m. in the Monroe 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 49 East 200 North Monroe, Utah. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday morning at the Ward Chapel in Monroe from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery.
