Mary Perry Howell passed away August 10, 2000 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born Dec. 1, 1914 in Perry, ID to Ralph and Lillie Ruth Hymas Perry. Married LeRay Sant Howell July 23, 1935 in the Logan Temple.

Her greatest joy came from raising her nine children. She was a wonderful cook and seam-stress. Mary loved to use her talents in decorating her home and entertaining her many friends. She was always support-ive of her sweetheart, Ray, in his church callings and career. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in all of her church callings including an LDS mission with her husband to the Los Angeles Temple Visitors Center. Grandma always enjoyed visits from her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Perry Lee (Mary) Howell, serving an LDS mission in Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Ronald Stuart (Phyllis Sue) Howell, SLC; Rex (Jean) Howell, SLC; Lane Steven (Carolyn) Howell, Little Rock, AR; Reta (Gary D.) Allen, McCall, ID; Colleen (Gaylin W.) Poulson, Highlands Ranch, CO; Mary Lou (Kenneth L.) Frank, SLC; Judy (Stephen J.) Hatch, SLC; Ginger Howell (Jack K. Howell - deceased) Spendlove, So. Jordan. She is also survived by 54 grandchildren and 80 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Leone (J. Smith) Jacobs; DeRalph (Eunice) Perry; Roy (Joyce) Perry; Lynn Perry; Glen Perry. Preceded in death by her husband, Le-Ray and son, Jack Kenneth Howell; brother, Warren Perry and one sister, Eunice Thomas.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 14, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the Salt Lake 21st Ward, 2nd Avenue and K Street. Friends may call Sunday evening at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, from 7-8 p.m. and Monday at the ward one hour prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
