Lucille passed away August 12, 2000 at her home in Salt Lake City.

Born Sept 14, 1905 in Holladay, UT the daughter of Niels Christian and Jane Clara Porcher Petersen. Married Robert Maxwell Lamont, Jr. Sept 14, 1925 in Lehi, UT who preceded her in death in 1954.

She received her education at West High School in SLC. She was first employ-ed at the Harris Detective Agency. She was later employed for 34 years as Exec-utive Secretary at Utah Oil Co. (UTOCO), later known as American Oil (Amoco). She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holding callings as secretary of Sunday school, records extraction worker in Danish genealogy, and temple worker.

Survived by her daughter, Karyl Lamont Walton (Kent L); sister, Rita Brittain; grandchildren, Kirk L. Walton, Kristopher L. Walton (Tiffinie), Katie Walton Riehle (Robertsen); and seven great-grandchildren, Theron, Alexander, Zeniff, Austin, Benjamin, Nixon. Preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Sidra; and brothers, Herbert, Everett, Delmar, Keith Petersen.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Rocky Mountain Hospice in gratitude for their tender care.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wed. Aug 16, at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue "N" Street. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
