Myrle Scow Campbell joined Grandpa Friday, August 11, 2000 (her birthday) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Born August 11, 1917, in Hurricane, UT to Alfred Scow and Annie Bradshaw Scow. Married Elworth H Campbell Nov 16, 1934. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Myrle was raised in Hurricane but raised most of her children in Salt Lake City. She and Elworth also spent many years in Las Vegas. She most recently resided in Cedar City. Myrle was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in all of her callings and enjoyed attending the temple. She enjoyed spending time in the hills, and making quilts for her children and grandchildren.
Survived by her children, Ellen Mae Adamson, Darnell (Riley) Landes, Judy Garner, Troy (Paula) Campbell; sisters, Mary Coon, Anna Bowler, Thenelda Reeves, Elda Hammond; brothers, Mansel Scow, RL Scow; 25 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, seven great great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Elworth; parents; brothers, Glenn, Estelvin; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. Tues. Aug 15, at the Christy and Kell LDS Chapel in North Las Vegas. Services begin at 10:00 a.m. Graveside service will be 4 p.m. (Utah time) at the Hurricane Cemetary. Directors, Palm Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
