Our special little angel, Stephanie Marie Job, returned to her Father in Heaven on August 12, 2000.

A special spirit delivered to us, Dave and Shonnie Job, on November 2, 1982. Stephanie was a courageous and special child that left her mark on each life she touched, her beautiful smile and good nature will always be cherished and remembered and missed by all.

Stephanie achieved many things during her short life. She was a member of the National Honor Society, was an honor student from 9th grade through her last year as a Junior at West Jordan High School. She lettered in academics and was a member of the WJHS Pep Squad for two years. She excelled in English and was a great writer, she hoped to one day write a book about her experiences. In her earlier life she loved to dance, play softball and write poems. She loved being out in the sun, the mountains, being with her family and hangin' with her friends.

She taught us all courage, endurance, patience and love. Stephanie faced many medical challenges, from childhood cancer to a heart condition that ultimately lead to a recent heart transplant. She was so grateful to have received a second chance in hopes of fulfilling her goals and dreams, of which she had many. She hoped to one day be a child psychologist and help those children in need such as herself, she was always thinking of others. She never considered her medical problems a hindrance, only a challenge to learn and grow from.

Stephanie was the first child born to Shonnie and Dave, she leaves behind a very special sister and best friend who stayed by her side and comforted her when she was frightened, Angela Nicole, a brother whom she loved to watch play in various sporting activities, Jeffrey David, and her youngest brother that she took the role of second mother, Joshua David. Stephanie had many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom each and everyone had a special place in her heart. Her loving and special grandparents, Jack and Loralee Job of West Valley City, William and Ermie Carrillo of Kearns, and great-grandmother Dorothy Job, Salt Lake City. She is preceded in death by many great-grandparents who were awaiting her arrival beyond.

Stephanie loved and trusted her many doctors and nurses who cared for her, especially, Dr.'s Shaddy, Orsmond, Tani and Cowley, her two nurses Emily and Marian and the many technicians and staff in Cardiology. Her family will forever be grateful for the compassion, love and care given to Stephanie by all.
