EMERY - Marjorie Burr departed this worldly existence to be with her eternal companion on August 13, 2000. She had been suffering through a lengthy illness.
Marjorie leaves behind her son Burke N. Burr of SLC; sisters Florence Anderson of Emery; Mildred Brinkerhoff of Sandy, Lenabel (Don) Williams of Murray and Doraleen
(Don) Gates of Salina, UT. She was preceded by her parents Sophia and Alvin Torgerson, three brothers: Milton Abeline, Apollo Abeline and Magnus Abeline as well as a sister Eloise Lee.
She will be missed by several nieces and nephews and a special sister and brother-in-law Dermus and Venice Jensen of Emery, UT.
Marjorie was active almost all of her life. She loved to camp, fish and just be in the outdoors. She was a hard worker and worked until her retirement from California Computer Co. at the age of 65.
She loved her wrestling matches and would watch them faithfully every night they were on TV.
Services will be held in the Emery LDS Ward house in Emery, UT on Friday Aug. 18 at 11 a.m. There will be a private viewing for family and friends one hour prior to the service. Services are in the charge of Fausett Mortuary.
