The Utah Department of Transportation on Wednesday began repaving 6.5 miles of the Mirror Lake Highway (U-150) in Summit County.
The asphalt overlay project will begin at the city limits of Kamas and continue to the northeast.
It will take crews about three weeks to complete their work. During that time, traffic will be reduced to one lane with flaggers leading motorists from one end of the project to the other.
The restrictions will be in place Monday through Friday with work ending for the weekend at 3 p.m. each Friday.
