SANDY — A coalition of businesses, churches, schools, local government and neighbors will host immunization clinics starting Thursday at local elementary schools.
The clinics are sponsored by Alta View Hospital, Community Nursing Services, Jordan School District and the Salt Lake City-County Health Department. They provide at no cost the required childhood immunizations from birth to 3 years of age. Children 3-9 are charged $5 each dose. Older children pay a nominal fee based on the individual immunization.
No appointments are needed. All clinics are on Thursdays, from 4 to 7 p.m. The clinic schedule for the rest of the year is:
Thursday, Aug. 17, Sprucewood Elementary School, 12025 S. 1000 East.
Sept. 28, Crescent Elementary School, 11100 S. 230 East.
Oct. 19, Peruvian Park Elementary School, 1545 E. 8425 South.
