Prosecutors on Tuesday dismissed charges against a man accused of taking part in a May 1999 home invasion robbery.
John Arthur Hender, 37, was cleared of one aggravated burglary charge, two aggravated robbery charges and two aggravated kidnapping charges — all first-degree felonies.
Three people forcefully entered a West Valley home May 22, 1999, and robbed a married couple of more than $10,000 worth of valuables.
Debra Aranda, 42, was convicted for her part in the robbery earlier this year. In a sworn statement, Aranda implicated Hender and another man as accomplices.
