MIDWAY, Utah - Edwin Bartholomew, age 76, passed away early Thursday morning, August 17, 2000 in Provo, UT.
Ed was born March 19, 1924 in Fillmore, UT to Mark D. Barth-olomew and Eliza Beeston Bartholomew. Married Geniel Probst
Oct. 11, 1972 in Salt Lake City, UT. Later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple.
Veteran of World War II, served and LDS Mission with his wife to the Nauvoo Mission 1990-1991. His greatest pleasure in life was spending time with his family and friends, enjoyed life to it's fullest. Ed worked many years in the Automobile industry along the Wasatch front. He was a Justice of the Peace in Midway.
Survived by his wife Geniel of Midway; five children, Carl J. (Laura) Bartholomew of Virginia, Kathleen (Manny) Maldonado of California, Rosemary (Russ) Beattie of Idaho, Wayne Zufelt of Midway, Utah, and Tim (Tina) Zufelt of Colorado; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 21, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the Midway 3rd Ward, 165 No. Center St., friends may call on Sunday evening from 6-7 p.m. at the Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 No. Main, Heber. A viewing also on Monday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will follow in the Midway Cemetery.
