MILLCREEK — A 52-year-old Millcreek woman has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, a first-degree felony, and child abuse, a second-degree felony, for allegedly beating a 14-year-old boy she was baby-sitting.
The boy told police that while the defendant was baby-sitting him at her home on Aug. 14, he was attacked with a bamboo stick and sewing needle, according to charges filed in 3rd District Court Friday. The child's mother told police that when she picked up her son three hours after dropping him off, he was "obviously injured."
The defendant, Kristie McGuire, told police the boy slipped on some water in her kitchen and hit his head. Doctors at St. Mark's Hospital observed bruising around the victim's eyes, injuries to his scalp, bruises over his thighs and puncture wounds to his groin area, charges state.
