Some 300 antique, vintage, classic and high-performance sports cars will be featured in the 29th annual Senior Citizens' Concours d' Elegance Car Show Saturday, Sept. 16, on the University of Utah campus.

The show will be held between the Huntsman Center and the Marriott Library. Judging will begin at 9:30 a.m. Trophies will be presented about 4:30 p.m. All proceeds will go to the 10th East Senior Citizens Recreation Center Building Fund, said Chuck Robbins, show organizer and supervisor of the 10th East Center. Scott Bringhurst is show chairman.

The cars are the finest cars of their type in this area. Trophies presented become a credit to the cars and are prized by their owners, Robbins said.

The entry fee prior to Sept. 5 is $15 for the first car and $10 for an additional car by the same owner. A charge of $30 will be made for cars entered after Sept. 5. No entries will be accepted after Sept. 9. Checks should be made payable to Senior Car Show and mailed or delivered to 237 S. 1000 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84102. Call 538-2084 for more information.
