Dr. James Nelson's practice at the Alpine Women's Clinic in American Fork has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in ultrasound following a survey by the American College of Radiology. The clinic has been open for nearly two years and specializes in comprehensive women's health.

Mindy Kojima, a recent Southern Utah University graduate in public relations, has joined MED ONE CAPITAL as a rental equipment administrator/communication specialist. The firm leases and rents medical equipment to acute care hospitals throughout the United States.

Dr. Jared Bingham has joined Mountain View Hospital, Spanish Fork Clinic and Art City Family Medical Center as a family practice physician. He currently practices as the Spanish Fork office but will be based at the new Santaquin office when it is finished in September.

Andres Emmerich has joined the natural resources department at the law firm Parsons Behle & Latimer. His practice will focus on natural resources, international mining, environmental law and international contracts.

D. James Morgan, a shareholder in the law firm of Jones Waldo Holbrook & McDonough, has been named chair of the Utah State Bar's Labor and Employment Section. He focuses his practice in the areas of employment/labor relations and commercial litigation.

Mike Bahr, whose actuarial expertise has been featured in local and national publications, has joined Altius Health Plans as vice president of planning and development. He is a member of the Society of Actuaries and the American Academy of Actuaries.

New officers have been elected in the Salt Lake City chapter of the Tax Executives Institute. Douglas Eyre of Alcoa is the chapter president; Von Wallace of Ted Fold is vice president; Milan Crane of Boart Longyear Co. is secretary; Tim Jensen of Novell is treasurer; Paul Cherecwich Jr. of Alcoa Industrial Components Group is chapter representative.

Kelly Stephenson has been hired by FJCandN as an assistant account manager. He will help clients in the banking industry. FJCandN is a Salt Lake City-based branding firm.

Love Communications, a full-service advertising agency, has had some personnel changes. New to the firm are Wendi Egbert, an account executive; Kevin Peaslee, a senior copywriter; and Amy Veach, a junior art director.

Max Coulliette has been appointed general agent at Intermountain Financial Group/Mass Mutual, which has 17 offices in Utah, Idaho and Montana. He formerly was the company's co-general agent.

There have been some personnel changes at the Utah Association of Realtors. Sherry Talbot, the former executive assistant, has been promoted to director of professional development. Connie Hill, the former community relations representative for the I-15 Reconstruction Project, has been named communication/member services director. Faye Bush, formerly a Realtor in Maryland, has joined as executive assistant/office manager.

Mike Reyna has been named a director at AT&T Broadband and will be handling the day-to-day operations of the Mid-Valley area of Salt Lake City. He has worked in the communications and telecommunications industries for nine years, four of them internationally. In his new position, he will supervise 150 employees.

Joe Christensen has been appointed to the position of director of the Insurance Fraud Division of the Utah Insurance Department. Christensen will replace Gale Richard Evans, who has accepted a position with the State Attorney General's Office as director of its Medicaid Fraud Division.

Dain Rauscher has hired Carlos Fackrell as an investment executive. He will assist individual and corporate clients in choosing investments such as stocks, taxable and tax-exempt bonds, options and mutual funds, as well as helping prepare retirement and money management plans.

There have been some personnel changes at Westminster College. Mikeil Callahan has been appointed to the position of director of human services. He has 20 years of experience in the field. The college's assistant professor of economics, Aric Krause, has accepted the position of MBA director. He advises students, directs development of curricular standards and new programs, and works as liaison with corporate partners.

CIGNA HealthCare of Utah has named Janet Morris to be provider relations manager. She will act as the main liaison with CIGNA's Utah network of more than 2,200 physicians, specialists and therapists.
