Mari Esther Robison Cheshire known for her great amount of love and sense of humor passed away August 22, 2000 after a long and courageous fight with brain cancer.
The daughter of Don Robison and Esther Watson was born May 28, 1955 in Lovell, Big Horn County, Wyoming.
Mari was a member of the Mt Jordan 3rd Ward where she held many positions and was a regular temple attender. She had worked at Air Terminal Gifts for 25 years. Was an avid Jordan Beat Digger Football Fan. First and foremost were her children, grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney Lane Cheshire, Sr., whom she married May 24, 1976 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She is also survived by her children, Chelsea Doyle (Gabe) and their children Matthew and Adriana; Rodney L. Cheshire, Jr.; and Bryan D. Cheshire; father, Don Robison (Wanita); mother, Esther Waters (Lamar); brothers and sisters, Connie Robison (Jay), Peggy Leatham (Rex), Sid Robison (Alene), Julia Tuft (Craig); and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends. The family wishes to express their heart felt gratitude for the loving care given by the doctors and staff of U of U Hospital, whom she loved dearly, the Huntsman's Cancer Institute, Hospice for all their valiant effort.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2000, 11 a.m. at the Sandy Mt. Jordan Stake Center, 9331 S. 300 East. Family and friends may call Friday evening 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates, 5850 S. 900 East, and one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment: Sandy City Cemetery.
