SHARE American Legion officer offers help on VA benefits

The service officer from the American Legion in Salt Lake City will be in the area Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Provo Workforce Services, 1550 N. 200 West, to assist residents in understanding and applying for VA benefits, including compensation, pension, hospitalization, education and other benefits.

This is a free service and veterans need not be a member of the American Legion to receive assistance. Those interested are asked to bring the following documents: DD Form 214, marriage/divorce papers, birth/adoption/death certificates, children's social security numbers.
