Our loving mother, wife, daughter, and sister, Cindy Openshaw Watson passed away August 22, 2000 in Sandy, Utah.

She was born Friday, Dec. 13, 1957 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Richard D. and NaOma Tischner Openshaw. She married Brad Watson May 6, 1987 in Salt Lake City, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 3, 1995.

Cindy was an exuberant member of the LDS Church. She enjoyed country music, arts and crafts, and was very creative. She was a devoted mother, and her husband and children were the most important part of her life. She showed love, concern, and acceptance for everyone.

Survived by her husband, Brad; children, Amber Leah, Amy Joleen, and Zachary LaMar; mother, NaOma, of St. George, UT; brothers, Richard, of Pocatello, ID; Kim, of Logan, UT; and Kerry Openshaw, of Minnesota; father and mother-in-law, LaMar and Joyce Watson; and her companion dogs, Sneaker and Mr. Blink. Preceded in death by her father, Richard "Dick" Openshaw.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2000 12 noon at the Hillcrest 9th Ward, 915 East Peach Blossom Dr. (9355 South), where friends may call both Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 11-11:45 a.m. Interment: South Jordan Cemetery.
