Scott Wayne Tippetts passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 24, 2000.

Scott was born on January 21, 1969 in Provo, Utah, the eldest child of Larry and Amaryllis Lindsey Tippetts. He grew up in American Fork, Utah; Memphis, Tennessee, and Boise, Idaho prior to moving to Sandy in 1984. He attended Alta High School and Salt Lake Community College. He served a faithful mission to Anaheim, California. 1988-1990. In Novem-ber 1992 he married Cindy Allen in the Salt Lake temple. They later divorced.

He was much-loved by his family and friends and will always be remembered for his willingness to help others in need. He adored his nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by them. He has had a soft heart for children and animals.

We will MISS him!

He is survived by his much-adored daughter, Brooke Lynn; his parents; his brothers and sister and their spouses and nieces and nephews: Stephen (Hollee), Lindsee, Tasha, and David; Heather (David) Gilliat, Kurtis, Stevie, and Amy; Joe (Mindy) Benny and Matthew; and Jared (Cesily). He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Mary Tippetts; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with his great-grandmother, Gwen Lindsey.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 28th at 12 noon at the Sandy Granite View Stake Center, 9880 South 3100 East, Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held Sunday, August 27th from 6-8 p.m. At Larkin Sunset Garden, 10600 South 1700 East in Sandy, and again on Mon. morning at the stake center from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to the funeral.
