Dr. Saurabh Shah has joined Pioneer Valley Hospital and Granger Medical Clinic where he will specialize in minimally invasive facial plastic surgery, sinus and allergy treatment, snoring treatment and general diseases of the ears, nose and throat. He attended East High School, then went on to graduate Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University and earned his medical degree at the University of California San Francisco.
F. Craig Brewster has been elected president of the Salt Lake Kiwanis Club. A veteran of the financial services industry, he is vice president and relationship manager for First Security Bank in its private client group. Other newly elected Kiwanis Club officers include: Elaine Schlehuber, who works as a mortgage loan officer with Zions Mortgage, was chosen to be first vice president; and Roger Dean, recently retired from First Security Bank, second vice president. Also elected were new members to the board of directors: J. Stephen Bradford, Lynnette Fisk, Newell Johnson, Turid Lipman, Peter Moyes and J. Christian Toronto.
There have been some personnel changes at Zions Bank. Susan Bryan has been named training officer for its customer service center in West Valley City. She previously served as a loan officer and is a member of the American Society for Training and Development. David DeLaMare has been promoted to vice president of executive banking. He has been in the industry for 18 years. Allan Greenland has been appointed vice president of credit management. He previously worked as a recovery manager and commercial loan workout officer. Gena Robertson has been appointed vice president of credit management. She formerly was assistant vice president of credit management.
Three Bank of Utah employees have been recognized by Northern Utah Capital. Steve Matthews, vice president/commercial loan officer SBA lending manager, was recognized for his participation with Northern Utah Capital in getting more than $5 million in Small Business Administration loan assistance; Jared Anderson, commercial loan officer, was named Lender of the Year and was inducted into the Million Dollar Club for helping the obtain more than $1 million in SBA loan help for small-business borrowers; and Cari Fullerton, vice president/commercial loan officer, was inducted into the Million Dollar Club.
There have been some personnel changes at AT&T Broadband. Ron Olberding has been named a director and will oversee operations for northern Utah, supervising more than 250 employees. Lance Barnes has been appointed a director for the South Valley operations and will supervise 100 employees. Scott Dansie has been named local government relations director, which will make him liaison to Utah cities and counties where the company has a franchise. Dennis Narciso has been appointed regional director of marketing and will handle development and implementation of marketing strategies and tactics for all services.
Priscilla Gruenewald has joined McKinnon-Mulherin as a senior information designer. She has extensive experience in the industry. McKinnon-Mulherin is a Salt Lake City-based firm that specializes in strategic communication and information design.
Tom Morgan, corporate manager at Mansell & Associates, has been named to a five-year term on the Utah State Real Estate Commission by Gov. Mike Leavitt. The commission, comprised of five members, serves as the regulatory committee for issues related to the real estate industry including licensing, fees, hearings and standards of conduct.
Dave Knutson has been named a senior consultant with the Ralston Consulting Group. He has extensive experience in the industry including such things as executive coaching and new product development in redesigning business processes.
Eldon Campbell has been named operations manager at the Salt Lake City warehouse for Bekins Distribution Center. Campbell has 24 years of experience in warehousing, distribution and transportation experience. Bekins Distribution Center is a privately owned warehousing and distribution firm headquartered in Iowa.
Inetz Media Group, a Salt Lake City Web development firm, has chosen Steve Haymond as its new chief financial officer. He specializes in controlling accounting functions, developing growth strategies, setting strategic plans and negotiating banking matters.
Kurt Herrmann has been appointed vice president of marketing for Fonix Corp., a provider of human-user interface technology solutions for wireless, mobile and intelligent devices, vehicle telematics and Internet and telephony systems.
