WEST VALLEY CITY — A couple was forced into a closet by knife point as robbers pillaged their home Saturday evening.

Three to five men, one wielding a "Rambo-type" knife forced their way into the home in the neighborhood of 4100 South 3600 West, West Valley City Police Sgt. Terrence Chen said.

The couple living at the home were put into a closet by knife-point. As the couple cowered in the closet the men began to take furniture and electronics equipment from the home, Chen said.

During the robbery a relative of the couple came home. The man, identified as an uncle, didn't realize anything was wrong and walked into the residence. Inside the burglars confronted him and during the altercation the uncle was knocked to the ground. The robbers then fled with property and cash, Chen said.
