Musicians will perform at 5 downtown venues

SHARE Musicians will perform at 5 downtown venues

Wristbands are required for entrance to all performance venues for the Salt Lake City Music Festival, said Tim Jordan, public relations and marketing assistant for the Downtown Alliance.

Tickets need to be exchanged at any of the music festival box offices that will be placed at all the venues. The will-call ticket booth will be located at the 300 South box office.

Advance tickets are $16 for a one-day pass or $20 for a two-day pass. Tickets will also be available at the door for $20, one-day, and $25, two-day.

Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets at Fred Meyer, Graywhale Exchange stores, at the ZCMI Center, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 325-SEAT.

There will be a free street fair, with more than 100 Utah vendors set up along Main Street from South Temple to 350 South.

The only street closure for the festival will be 300 South, between State and Main Street, said Tim Jordan of the Downtown Alliance.

The VISA stage will be at 300 South and Main. Other venues include the ZCMI Center, the Gallivan Center, Exchange Place and the Downtown Alliance Stage at 100 South and Main. TRAX will be running during the festival.
