A variety of dogs and cats will be available for adoption Thursday, Sept. 7, and Friday, Sept. 8, through Best Friends Animal Sanctuary at the Furburbia store in the Cottonwood Mall.
Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats. Fees include vaccinations, spaying or neutering, microchip implantation and a collar and leash.
Located outside Kanab, Kane County, Best Friends is the nation's largest shelter for abused and abandoned animals.
