SHARE iShopper.com posts a net loss of $1.25 million for quarter

SANDY — Internet and technology holding company iShopper.com Inc. on Tuesday reported a net loss of $1.25 million, or 11 cents per share, during the quarter ended June 30.

That compares to net income of $261,000, or $4.21 per share, for the same period a year ago.

iShopper.com's revenues from continuing operations totaled $1.66 million in the quarter, up 19 percent compared with revenues of $1.39 million for the 1999 period. "We are in the process of growing the company, and the results for the second quarter of 2000 are in line with management's expectations," said Douglas S. Hackett, company president and chief executive officer. "iShopper.com acquired five technology companies during the second quarter, which we believe, should lead to further increases in revenues in both the short and long term."

iShopper.com Inc. has investments in business-to-business and business-to-consumer Internet companies. Its wholly owned subsidiaries include Uniq Studios Inc., Atlantic Technologies International Inc., Internet Software Solutions Inc., iShopper Internet Services Inc., KT Solutions Inc., NowSeven.com Inc., Outbound Enterprises Inc., Stinkyfeet.com Inc. and TotaliNet.net Inc.
