Mildred Irene Cole Dangel, 81, died August 27, 2000 in American Fork, Utah of causes incident to age.
She was born Nov. 12, 1918 in Ogden, Utah, daughter of Otto Arley and Katie Irene Cox Cole. She married Walter William Dangel, Sept. 3, 1937 in Los Angeles, California. He died Mar. 1, 1990.
Mildred was a homemaker and lived in San Diego County from 1959-1998 in both Escondido and El Cajon, California before moving to Utah. She was very artistic and excelled in many crafts. Through the years, varied interests included copperwork, leatherwork, needlework and sewing, and most recently china painting.
Survived by one son and one daughter, Lynn Walter (Sherry) Dangel, Layton; Katie Jean Clinger, Highland; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000 at 11 a.m. in the Highland 15th Ward LDS Chapel, 5212 W. Country Club Drive, Highland, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Ogden City Cemetery under direction of Wing Mortuary, funeral directors, Lehi, Utah.
