Played in CBA (Cedar Rapids, 1989-90) and now-defunct World Basketball League (Memphis, 1990). . . . Signed as free agent with New York Knicks (Oct. 1, 1990). . . . Spent eight seasons (602 games) with Knicks before being traded with Chris Mills and Terry Cummings to Golden State for Latrell Sprewell (Jan. 21, 1999). . . . Named to 1992-93 NBA All-Defensive Team. Played in 1994 NBA All-Star Game. Won NBA's Sixth Man Award for play in 1996-97 season. . . .
