One of two women accused of kidnapping and robbing a Salt Lake County man in May has been sentenced to serve jail time and perform community service.
Jennifer Pelton, 22, pleaded guilty in June to second-degree felony kidnapping and robbery.
The victim told police Pelton and another woman, 21-year-old Kellie St. James, robbed him and forced him at gunpoint to accompany them as they drove around in his vehicle on April 26. The man's car and money were never returned.
Pelton this week was sentenced to 120 days in jail, with credit for time served. She was also ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.
St. James' preliminary hearing is scheduled Sept. 7.
