Salt Lake City police Thursday morning were looking for a driver who left the scene of a fatal accident.
A 70-year-old West Valley woman was killed when her car collided with another vehicle at the intersection of 1700 South and 300 West just after 5 a.m. Police don't know what caused the accident.
Lt. Jim Jensen said witnesses saw the driver of the other vehicle walk over to the woman's car and then get back into his vehicle and leave.
Investigators say the man was wearing shorts and no shoes. He was last seen driving a white Blazer that has damage to the front and left side of the vehicle.
