In his upcoming NBC sitcom "DAG," David Alan Grier plays a Secret Service agent assigned to protect the first lady (Delta Burke). Grier didn't go out of his way to do a lot of research into his role, but he did get some insight into the character because of what he accurately called a "bizarre coincidence."

"Actually, the costumer on the show grew up with a Secret Service agent who happens to be African-American," Grier said, "and actually is on the Hillary Rodham Clinton detail who came to the show. So we did get a chance to talk to him."
